THE RULES OF THE GAME
Games have two teams, and the match begins with a member of one team throwing a small ball, called the pallino, from one end of the court to another. The first team throws a ball, called the bocce, at the pallino. The next team throws the bocce at the pallino. The team closest to the pallino forfeits their turn until the other team throws a bocce that gets closer to the pallino, After all players have thrown their bocce balls, the player that is closest to the pallino is awarded points. One point will be awarded to this team for every ball that is closer to the pallino than the closest competitor’s ball. After the points are awarded, the match is completed.
Start a new match by electing a new person to throw the pallino and to throw the first bocce ball.
A game is won when a player reaches 13 points.
